The events described in this book took place during that strange week that May, a resident of a small Irish town, will never forget. At the same time, she finds herself foolishly and recklessly falling in love with the local postman, whose name she doesn’t even know, and incidents begin to occur in the city that would be suitable for filming a detective series.

Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям! Події, що відбуваються в житті Мей, настільки реалістичні та близькі, що я відразу ж поринула в її світ. Автор майстерно змальовує емоції героїні, її страхи та надії, що робить її дуже близькою та зрозумілою. Сад, в якому Мей наводить лад, стає символом її внутрішнього зростання та змін. Я була вражена, як автор вдало поєднує елементи романтики, детективу та особистісного розвитку. Історія про закоханість у листоношу, який стає для неї символом нових можливостей, додає ще більше чарівності. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, я вважаю, що ця книга варта уваги. Вона надихає на зміни та нагадує про важливість спілкування та відкритості до нового. Рекомендую всім, хто шукає легке, але глибоке читання!
