The book “Introduction to Christianity” now offered to the Russian-speaking reader was first published almost 40 years ago, in 1968. It was based on lectures given in the summer of 1967 at the University of Tübingen in Germany by the priest Joseph Ratzinger, who was later destined to become Pope Benedict XVI.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
