Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Полін, головна героїня, проходить через складний процес адаптації до нового життя у Франції, і її переживання настільки реалістичні, що я відчувала, ніби сама переживаю всі ці емоції. Автор вміло передає різницю між культурами, показуючи, як важливо знайти своє місце у світі, коли ти опиняєшся в абсолютно новому середовищі. Хоча Поль, батько Полін, має свої недоліки, його специфічні методи виховання додають динаміки та гумору в сюжет. Незважаючи на наявність нецензурної лайки, це не заважає книзі бути глибокою та змістовною. Я б рекомендувала цю книгу всім, хто цінує історії про особистісний ріст і культурні зіткнення, адже вона змушує замислитися про важливість сімейних зв'язків та прийняття себе. Чудовий переклад, який, незважаючи на деякі недоліки, не заважає насолоджуватися читанням.
