Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Полін, головна героїня, проходить через складний процес адаптації до нового життя у Франції, і її переживання настільки реалістичні, що я відчувала, ніби сама переживаю всі ці емоції. Автор вміло передає контраст між пострадянським менталітетом та французьким способом життя, що робить читання ще більш захоплюючим. Взаємини між Полін і її батьком Польом викликають безліч емоцій - від сміху до сліз. Поль, з усіма своїми недоліками, виявляється дуже людяним персонажем, і його специфічні методи виховання додають динаміки до сюжету. Хоча у книзі є нецензурна лайка, вона органічно вписується в контекст і підкреслює реалістичність ситуацій. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто шукає щось глибоке та відверте про стосунки батьків і дітей, а також про адаптацію до нових культур.
