Салман Рушді майстерно створює світ, де реальність переплітається з фантазією, а теми кохання, війни та боротьби між світлом і темрявою стають основою для глибоких роздумів. Читач занурюється в недалеке майбутнє Нью-Йорка, де відбуваються неймовірні події, і стає свідком любові джинії до звичайного чоловіка, що надає історії особливу чутливість та людяність. Незважаючи на те, що текст був перекладений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, якість перекладу в більшості випадків залишається високою, хоча іноді зустрічаються незначні недоліки.
