The book by the famous Russian writer Hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Karpov consists of two parts. The first of them tells the story of the death and resurrection of front-line intelligence officer Stepan Doronin, whom conflicts of fate bring to Argentina. The second part presents an abbreviated version of the popular book “Take Alive,” which tells about the military path of intelligence officer Vasily Romashkin, where the life milestones of the book’s author are traced.

Автор майстерно передає атмосферу війни, показуючи не лише фізичні, але й моральні випробування, з якими стикаються герої. Друга частина, що є скороченим варіантом "Взяти живим", доповнює картину, надаючи читачеві можливість глибше зрозуміти життєвий шлях розвідника Василя Ромашкіна. Хоча переклад тексту за допомогою штучного інтелекту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися потужною історією, що розкриває теми мужності, дружби та самопожертви. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією та військовими пригодами!
