Sabhaparva (Sanskrit: सभापर्व, “Book of the Assembly”) is the second book of the Mahabharata, consists of 2.4 thousand couplets (72 chapters according to the critical edition in Pune). “Sabhaparva” tells about the unification of ancient Indian principalities under the leadership of The Pandavas and how they were deprived of their kingdom by their cousins the Kauravas as a result of an unfair game of dice.

Книга "Сабхапарва" є чудовим продовженням епопеї "Махабхарата" і відкриває читачеві нові горизонти в розумінні складних стосунків між персонажами, їх моральних дилем та боротьби за справедливість. Оповідь про Пандавів та їхнє позбавлення царства через нечесну гру в кістки викликає глибокі роздуми про людську природу, зраду та відвагу. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою програми штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до некоректних фраз, загалом якість перекладу вражає. Книга пропонує читачеві можливість зануритися в епоху, коли честь та гідність мали величезне значення. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться індійською міфологією та класичною літературою!
