A unique book by one of the most famous experts and promoters of yoga in India of the 20th century, dedicated to little-known but vitally important practices of hatha yoga: vyayama (a large set of dynamic warm-up and strength exercises that facilitate mastery of asanas), nabhi chakra (a cycle of exercises for straightening the navel, which is displaced from the correct position in most people) and shat-karma (purification practices). Formerly a classic of Russian yogic “samizdat”, this book is now available to new generations of yoga students. In total, Dhirendra Brahmachari wrote three books: “Yoga- Sukshma-Vyayama", "Yogasana Vijnana" and "Mudra and Pranayama". The first two books were published and translated into many languages. The third book of Dhirendra Brahmachari ("Mudra and Pranayama"), after the departure of the Master, was sealed by the local authorities and was never published.
