Astrel Publishing House presents a new book by musician, poet, leader of the Night Snipers group Diana Arbenina. “Auto-da-fe” includes lyrics and poems (anti-songs) from different years, from the earliest and still unpublished to those that were written quite recently. The book ends with a literary version of the one-man show “Motofoso,” performed by Diana on the eve of her 35th birthday at the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov. The illustrations for “Auto-da-fé” were made by St. Petersburg artist and longtime friend of the “Night Snipers” Violetta Surovtseva, to whom Diana, without any doubt, entrusted to draw what she felt with complete freedom of choice of illustrated texts.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
