Jerzy Kosinski was born on June 14, 1933 in Lodz (Poland), into a Jewish family. His real name - Jerzy Nikodem Lewinkopf - had to be changed in childhood, during the occupation of Poland by the Nazis. Jerzy Kosinski is a writer who has known noisy fame and scandalous revelations.
