Вражаюча та провокаційна книга про Американську мрію
"Як пташки-звірістелі" - це не просто роман, а справжня соціальна критика, яка змушує задуматися про реалії життя іммігрантів у США. Автор майстерно зображує дві абсолютно різні історії, які переплітаються в одному контексті, підкреслюючи контраст між очікуваннями та реальністю. Англійський інтелектуал, який прагне спокою, виявляється в центрі хаосу, а китайський хлопець, що мріє про краще життя, проходить через жорстокі випробування. Ця книга змушує читача задуматися про те, що насправді означає "Американська мрія" і які жертви за нею стоять. Хоча переклад тексту іноді може бути не зовсім коректним, це не зменшує загальної цінності твору. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться соціальними питаннями та хоче зрозуміти складнощі життя в сучасному світі!
