Чудове дослідження історичної особистості!
Книга "Карл XII, або П'ять куль для короля" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор, присвятивши більшу частину свого життя вивченню політичного розвитку Скандинавських країн, вдало заповнив прогалину в російській історіографії, розкриваючи невідомі аспекти життя та діяльності шведського короля. Читач отримує можливість поглянути на Північну війну з нового ракурсу, що дозволяє краще зрозуміти не лише самого Карла XII, а й політичні та соціальні обставини того часу. Хоча переклад тексту здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, загалом він досить якісний і не заважає сприйняттю матеріалу. Деякі незначні неточності в перекладі, звісно, є, але вони не зменшують цінності книги. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією, особливо періодом Північної війни та особистістю Петра I, адже ця книга відкриває нові горизонти в розумінні історичних подій!
