When Time Went Mad is a fantasy story, 1950, chrono-opera. One day, a man named Rob Dineen from 3054 found himself in the apartment of Webb Hildreth from 1949. Rob suffers from photophobia, and for this reason he should have been executed in his time, but he stole the Chroni, a time machine, and fled to the distant past, to his mental counterpart. Now both are in danger... In three editions in Russian, the story is mistakenly attributed to Frederic Pohl.
