Олексій Маслов майстерно поєднує історію, філософію та практичні аспекти бойових мистецтв Японії, роблячи їх доступними для читача, який не має спеціальної підготовки. Я дізнався про різні школи та стилі, які існували протягом століть, і про те, як вони вплинули на сучасні бойові мистецтва. Особливо вразила інформація про зв'язок між бойовими мистецтвами та духовними практиками, що надає ще більшої глибини цій темі. Книга написана зрозумілою мовою, і хоча є деякі недоліки в перекладі, це не заважає насолоджуватися змістом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться не лише технікою, а й культурою та історією Японії!
