Vasil Bykov talks about the most striking pages of his biography, assesses the socio-political and cultural processes that took place before his eyes.

Книга "Довга дорога додому" — це не просто спогади Василя Бикова, а справжня літературна подорож у глибини людської душі та історії. Автор, як видатний представник військової прози, зумів передати емоції та переживання, які супроводжували його протягом життя, наповненого війною, боротьбою та пошуками істини. Його роздуми про суспільно-політичні процеси, які відбувалися в Білорусі та за її межами, вражають своєю глибиною та актуальністю. Биков не боїться говорити про складні теми, які хвилюють суспільство, і його сміливість заслуговує на повагу. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які можуть відволікати, сама суть книги залишається незмінною — це заклик до розуміння, співчуття та пам'яті. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує якісну літературу та хоче доторкнутися до історії через призму особистого досвіду великого письменника.
