For more than 80 years, her grave, like the entire interior of the city’s Ascension Church, was covered with a thick layer of garbage. And only thanks to the patriots and patrons of the initiative group, headed by N.P. Budakov, the almost interrupted spiritual connection of centuries and generations was restored. Now the relics of the locally revered schema-nun Pelagia are located on the territory of the old Assumption Monastery.
