The book is dedicated to the unfamous war that broke out in the fragments of the Soviet Empire in the late 1980s - the Karabakh war. The protracted bloody conflict between Armenians and Azerbaijanis has left more questions than answers. Today, almost twenty years after the end of the active phase of the armed confrontation, the Karabakh war can hardly be considered over. The book is based on a large array of documentary materials and memories of war participants, many of whom the author interviewed himself. Particularly interesting in the work is the analysis of military confrontation, as well as the study of the use of combat arms by the warring parties: aviation, artillery, tanks. The author paid much attention to the consideration of the organization and tactics of the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Karabakh troops at different stages of their existence.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. Це не просто книга про війну, а глибоке дослідження людських доль, які постраждали від цього конфлікту. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість тексту залишається високою, а інформація, представлена в книзі, є надзвичайно цінною для тих, хто прагне зрозуміти причини та наслідки карабахської війни. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією та військовими конфліктами!
