In 1991, the Soviet Union, a huge country occupying 1/6 of the landmass, collapsed. There was a reassessment of the values of former “subordinates” who became independent subjects of international relations. Old grievances were remembered, complaints against neighbors appeared. This resulted in 6 major wars, 20 military clashes and a hundred conflicts on interethnic and interfaith grounds. Книга "Насіння розпаду" є надзвичайно важливим і своєчасним дослідженням, яке допомагає читачеві зрозуміти складні процеси, що відбулися на території колишнього СРСР після його розпаду. Автор детально аналізує причини та наслідки війни та конфліктів, які виникли внаслідок переоцінки цінностей та старих образів. Яскраво викладений матеріал, очищений від ідеологічних нашарувань, дозволяє отримати чітке уявлення про сутність пострадянських війн і міжетнічних конфліктів. Хоча переклад тексту з використанням штучного інтелекту в цілому якісний, іноді трапляються незначні недоліки, які не заважають сприйняттю основної ідеї. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією, політикою та соціальними змінами в пострадянському просторі
