The book is dedicated to the activities of a prominent American politician, Senator from Wisconsin Joseph McCarthy. It is shown that McCarthyism was a reaction of a patriotically minded part of American society to the hidden anti-state, cosmopolitan orientation of an influential group of leading political and public figures in the United States of that time. Although the book tells about events more than half a century ago that took place in America, far from us, many of those touched upon in Its themes - especially the methods of democrats to lie and slander for grants from international foundations the people and history of the country in which they are nested - are also relevant for modern Russia.
