The Earth is called the Tenth Rome, and like Rome the First, it has the same disease. The oligarchy pays little attention to the needs of ordinary citizens, caring only about its own well-being and profits. But there comes a moment when the problem can no longer be ignored, and in order to relieve the planet, its economy, “extra” people who consume too many resources but give nothing in return, they are evicted to distant colonies. What can these people who have never worked, who understand only the language of force, do in harsh worlds where they have to work until they sweat to feed themselves? Nothing. They are only capable of taking the bread of their labor from honest colonists by force. And so the Legion, created to conquer the planets, stands up to protect the civilian population.

Книга "Легіон Цербера" занурює читача у світ, де людство стикається з серйозними викликами, які, на жаль, можуть бути дуже знайомими. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи наукової фантастики з соціальною критикою, змушуючи задуматися про моральні аспекти виселення "зайвих" людей у колонії. Сюжет наповнений напруженими моментами, коли Легіон, створений для підкорення планет, стає на захист мирного населення. Ця книга не лише розважає, але й ставить важливі питання про людські цінності, ресурси та відповідальність. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які не заважають загальному сприйняттю, я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує глибокі сюжети та актуальні теми. Вона залишає по собі слід і спонукає до роздумів про наше місце у світі.
