“Whirlwinds of Change” is a continuation of the trilogy already loved by readers: “Paradise Lost”, “The Unfrightened Generation”, “Good Wishes”, united under the general title - “Russian Cross”. The novel traces the fate of four school friends and their loved ones, who had the privilege of witnessing and participating in the epoch-making events that took place in our country at the turn of two centuries. We first meet the heroes of the novel in the late 70s. In the book “Whirlwinds of Change,” the grown-up, mature characters enter the early 90s with the country. Each of them has their own destiny, and together it is the destiny of a generation. The book has all the attributes of that time: the coup, the collapse of the USSR, the commercialization of state-owned enterprises, emigration, total shortages, the emerging oligarchy and gang warfare. It was a time when the whirlwinds of change affected everyone.

Вражаюче продовження трилогії, що захоплює дух!
Книга «Вихори змін» стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу епохи, в якій відбуваються події, і я відчувала, ніби сама переживаю всі ті зміни разом з героями. Доля чотирьох шкільних друзів, які стають свідками великих історичних подій, настільки захоплює, що не можливо відірватися від читання. Кожен персонаж має свою унікальну історію, і їхні переживання та зусилля в умовах соціальних і політичних змін викликають глибокі емоції. Книга вдало поєднує особисті драми з історичними фактами, що робить її не лише цікавою, але й пізнавальною. Єдиним недоліком є деякі моменти в перекладі, але вони не псують загального враження. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією та соціальними змінами в нашій країні!
