Умберто Эко is the most famous Italian writer, author of the world best sellers the "Name of rose" and "Pendulum of Foucault", specialist on a semiotics, historian of culture, linguist, laureate of the largest bonuses. His labours are translated into forty languages. "Cardboards of Minerva" are collection of publications in the milanese magazine of "Эспрессо", where a professor from 1985 conducts a weekly column.
