Книга "Сліпа сторона серця" вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу жаху та безвиході, в якій опинилися герої, що пережили жахи двох світових війн. Історія Хелен та її сина, які намагаються знайти своє місце в світі, сповнена трагізму та надії. Особливо вразила динаміка стосунків між сестрами Хелен та Марті, які, незважаючи на всі труднощі, намагаються підтримувати одна одну. Книга змушує замислитися про цінність сімейних зв'язків, про те, як війна руйнує життя людей, але водночас залишає місце для надії та любові. Хоча переклад тексту не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою історією, яка залишає глибокий слід у серці.
