In 2009, Germany celebrates the anniversary of unification. Twenty years ago, an incredible event took place for many people: the Berlin Wall, the material border between the Western and Eastern worlds, fell. An event that changed millions of destinies and predetermined the history of the development of not only Germany, but also the entire Europe that subsequently united. The anniversary anthology presents the works of twenty-three writers, each of whom has his own view on the holiday of unification that has become a national holiday and on the problem of unification, which is still felt today since.
