The Chekhov Publishing House, operating in New York in 1952–1956, was the largest book enterprise in the Russian diaspora in its entire history. Over the four years of its existence, it published more than one and a half hundred publications, among which there were many valuable books. This publication offers the entire surviving corpus of letters from G.V. Adamovich to the editors of the Chekhov Publishing House Vera Alexandrovna Alexandrova and Tatyana Georgievna Terentyeva (a total of 25 messages).
