Інті Флінн, головна героїня, з її сестрою Еггі приїжджає до Шотландії з метою не лише врятувати сірих вовків, але й знайти своє місце у світі, що стрімко змінюється. Авторка майстерно поєднує елементи екологічної тематики з глибокими особистими переживаннями героїні, що робить історію надзвичайно емоційною та захоплюючою. Я була вражена, як через призму боротьби за збереження ландшафту та його мешканців, розкриваються складні стосунки між сестрами та їхніми таємницями. Книга спонукає задуматися про важливість емпатії та зв'язку з природою, а також про те, як наші дії можуть впливати на навколишнє середовище.
