The "Third Book of Enoch" (Hebrew), or "Book of the Heavenly Palaces", has been dated variously by scholars (3rd to 7th century AD). It contains a description of the heavenly journey of the famous Palestinian teacher of the law of the 1st–2nd centuries AD, Rabbi Ishmael.
