Книга "Арлекін" переносить читача в жахливий і жорстокий світ XIV століття, де лицарство та шляхетність залишилися лише спогадом. Автор майстерно описує атмосферу безнадії та насильства, що панує на фоні Столітньої війни, і створює надзвичайно реалістичний портрет того часу. Головний герой, англійський лучник Томас, стає символом надії та боротьби за справедливість, його шлях до повернення священної реліквії сповнений небезпек і моральних випробувань. Читач відчуває кожен момент його боротьби, і це робить книгу неймовірно захопливою. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному враженню від читання. Рекомендую "Арлекіна" всім, хто любить історичні романи з глибоким змістом і яскравими персонажами!
