Richard Sharpe and the Battle of Waterloo, 1815 "One Hundred Days." Sharpe, Lucille and their son Patrick are forced to flee France. Colonel Sharp participates in the Battle of Waterloo as an officer on the staff of Prince William of Orange. He is forced to shoot the prince to stop his incompetent command. At the most necessary moment, he finds himself at the head of his regiment and leads it in an attack on the “old guard”. On the battlefield, Wellington appoints Sharpe as regimental commander. Sharpe “sells” his unfaithful wife to Lord John Rosendale. Colonel Rosendale is killed by marauders. He never finds out that Jane is expecting his child.
