The world in which the events described in this book unfold is very similar to ours and yet a little different from it. The names and place names seem familiar, but still sound unusual. Many names are taken from ancient books, while others are the fruit of playing with existing words. All (or almost all) places mentioned in the book can be found on geographical maps, although their names will not always coincide. And some islands and even entire countries have moved slightly to the side. Consequently, this book cannot be called a historical novel in the strict sense of the word, but it is not a fairy tale in its pure form. And the action takes place in times we have never known... Shakespeare's sonnet still belongs to the pen of the great poet, although in the world of Artia his name will sound like Shakespere.
