The fact that politics, in spiritual terms, is a reflection of a certain philosophical system, does not need to be proven, it is an elementary truth. The thesis that the philosophical system of Marxism, developed by V.I. Lenin, was in demand by millions of people around the world throughout the twentieth century; it has not been discarded even now, despite the sharp criticism to which this system is now subjected. Of course, many of Lenin’s ideas, especially those related to immediate political problems, are no longer relevant, but some of the issues raised by him have not lost their relevance today, and some issues will face humanity for a very long time. Among these “eternal” issues is the problem of violence, its admissibility, significance in social development and in public life.
