The authors sought to touch upon all the most pressing and controversial issues in the history of their country, which are the subject of debate not only in Romania, but also beyond its borders. This is truly a new book; it was published in Romania in 2004, and in 2005 it was translated and published in Russia.[1]

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Вперше я отримав можливість дізнатися про румунську історію з перспективи самих румунських істориків, що надає тексту особливої автентичності та глибини. Автори вдало торкаються всіх важливих моментів, від давніх даків до сучасності, і їхній науковий підхід справляє враження. Книга наповнена багатством фактичного матеріалу, що дозволяє читачеві не лише ознайомитися з історією, а й зрозуміти її контекст та значення. Хоча я помітив деякі недоліки в перекладі, це не зменшує цінності самої роботи. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією Східної Європи, адже вона відкриває нові горизонти розуміння румунської культури та її впливу на регіон.
