Книга Олександра Сидорова "На Молдаванці музика грає" - це справжнє відкриття для всіх, хто цікавиться історією блатних та вуличних пісень. Автор майстерно поєднує факти з історії кримінальної субкультури з глибокими нарисами про знамениті пісні, що стали символами цілої епохи. Читач отримує можливість не лише насолодитися текстами пісень, а й дізнатися про їхнє походження, контекст та значення в культурі. Особливо вражає, як Сидоров вміло вплітає в наратив маловідомі історичні факти, що робить книгу не лише цікавою, але й пізнавальною. Хоча переклад тексту місцями може бути не зовсім точним, це не зменшує загального враження від читання.
