This collection includes works by N. A. Teffi, written before 1912. The first two books of prose, “Humorous Stories. Book One" (St. Petersburg, "Rosehip", 1910) and "Humorous Stories. Book two" (St. Petersburg, "Rosehip", [1911]). The parody “Ancient History” was included in the collective “General History, processed by Satyricon” (St. Petersburg, M. G. Kornfeld, 1911). All the poems from the collection “Seven Lights” (St. Petersburg, “Rosehipnik”, 1910) are printed in the appendix. Drama is represented by the one-act play “The Women’s Question,” first shown by the Maly Theater in St. Petersburg in 1907.
