The author of this collection of stories began going to sea back in 1990 and still continues to work in the merchant fleet, having worked his way up from motor mechanic to senior engineer. I have seen and experienced a lot of funny and sad, amusing and scary, interesting and unusual things while traveling around the world. The author decided to share these stories with readers. Stories that smell of distant exotic countries, salted by sea winds and strong sailor words. Stories that are sometimes absolutely incredible, but absolutely true!
