This publication is published in a new edition made by A.T. Fomenko in 2013. It is noticeably different from the previous ones. The book is a new study on mathematical chronology and reconstruction of ancient and medieval history using statistical methods. The history of Rus' in the 14th–17th centuries is reconstructed based on an analysis of historical information contained in the Bible. It turns out that biblical events took place not in ancient times, but in the 12th–17th centuries. In particular, the pages of the Bible describe the bright events of the medieval history of the Russian Horde Empire. It turns out that the famous biblical conquest of the Promised Land is the Ottoman u003d Ataman conquest of Eurasia in the 14th–15th centuries. It turns out that the Old Testament story of Esther and Judith took place in the second half of the 16th century in Russia. The interpretation of the historical content of the Bible proposed in the book may seem unusual to an unprepared reader. It is important that this study concerns only the historical, not theological content of the Bible. It does not affect the fundamental doctrines set forth in the Bible, and does not question the religious dogmas of those religions for which the Bible is a sacred book. The authors do not claim to be a complete study of the Bible as a historical source. This book is devoted mainly to one topic - how the medieval Rus'-Horde of the XIV-XVII centuries, that is, the Great u003d “Mongolian” Empire, is described on the pages of the Bible. The book is read with unflagging interest, it will attract the attention of everyone who is concerned about the problems of ancient and medieval stories.
