In 2019, the Russian Chronicler was published for the first time - a valuable historical source that sheds new light on many events in Russian and world history. A comparison of the Russian Chronicler and the Tale of Bygone Years clearly shows that the beginning of the Tale of Bygone Years, which tells about the dawn of Russian history, is a distorted edition of the first chapters of the Russian Chronicle. This edition was made in Kyiv in the 17th century by monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra of Polish origin with the “patriotic” goal of presenting the city of Kyiv as “the mother of Russian cities”, and the Poles as “the best of the Slavic tribes”. Historians, probably, have long noticed this striking circumstance, and therefore tried in every possible way to hide the Russian chronicler from the public. After all, “The Tale of Bygone Years” is the main and, in fact, the only support for their version of Russian history. Based on the Russian Chronicle, the authors reconstruct the true picture of ancient Russian history. This allows you to take a fresh look at many of the most important events of recent history. The publishing design is preserved in PDF A4 format.
