Ancient and medieval utopias advertised a certain ideal state, sometimes called the New Atlantis, which supposedly needed to be built. This is where the ideas of socialism and communism grew. Utopias became a political and military force that influenced the lives of millions of people. Many politicians and rulers adopted the ideas of utopian socialism and communism, or, on the contrary, fiercely fought against them. In the mysterious Atlantis lived the powerful Atlanteans, who later “turned bad” and were punished by an angry Zeus. It turned out that the utopias originally called “Atlantis” the metropolis of the Great u003d “Mongolian” Empire, that is, the Rus-Horde of the 13th-17th centuries. And the split of the Empire at the beginning of the 17th century was declared by Western European reformers to be the “death of Atlantis.” Utopias were one of the forms of struggle against the late Horde Empire. Moreover, the reformers worshiped the early Empire of the 13th-15th centuries, that is, Ancient Rome, but hated the late Empire of the 16th-17th centuries, that is, the era of Ivan the Terrible and Godunov. Although, in essence, the object of admiration and hatred was the same - the Great Empire.
