Ця книга є неймовірно захоплюючим дослідженням життя одного з найвідоміших князів Русі. Автор вдало передає атмосферу того часу, описуючи не лише військові походи Святослава, а й його внутрішні конфлікти та стосунки з оточуючими. Особливо вражає, як у книзі показано боротьбу між старими язичницькими віруваннями та новою християнською релігією, що робить історію ще більш драматичною. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, якість перекладу в цілому на високому рівні, і лише незначні недоліки не заважають насолоджуватися читанням.
