This volume continues the publication of the works of the Russian philosopher Gustav Gustavovich Shpet. It included the first part of the book “History as a Problem of Logic,” published by Shpet in 1916. The text of the monograph is given in a new composition, having been newly prepared from Shpet’s personal copy from the personal library of M. G. Shtorkh (with notes in the margins and corrections by Shpet), according to the manuscripts of the OR RSL (f. 718) and the family archive kept by him daughter M. G. Storkh and granddaughter E. V. Pasternak. The volume is thoroughly commented on. The book is intended for a wide range of readers interested in the history of Russian philosophy and culture.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
