The reader is offered a book in which, as fully as possible, based on materials from the Central State Archive of the Navy and the Leningrad State Historical Archive (LGIA), the history of “Rurik” is told, many unknown pages of his life are revealed, starting from the creation of the project and ending with a description of the battle and the last minutes cruisers. A significant place in the book is devoted to people: statesmen and military leaders, engineers, builders and, of course, the heroic crews of “Rurik”, “Russia” and “Gromoboy”.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. Ця книга є справжнім відкриттям для всіх, хто цікавиться військовою історією та морськими бойовими кораблями. Автор детально розкриває історію крейсера "Рюрік", починаючи з етапу проектування і закінчуючи драматичними моментами його останніх боїв. Використання матеріалів ЦДА ВМФ та Ленінградського державного історичного архіву надає книзі наукової достовірності та глибини. Особливо вразила увага до людей, які стояли за створенням та експлуатацією цього корабля — їхні історії, досягнення та героїзм на морі. Хоча деякі моменти перекладу можуть бути не зовсім точними, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю тексту. Книга стане корисним джерелом інформації для істориків, дослідників та всіх, хто захоплюється морською справою. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче дізнатися більше про цю епоху та її героїв!
