Малік, головний герой, є складним персонажем, чия внутрішня боротьба між добром і злом стає центральною темою твору. Його одкровення та рішення рятувати новонароджену дитину, яку він вважає Ісусом Христом, додають глибини і емоційності сюжету. Окультні елементи та насильство на вулицях створюють враження реалістичності та напруги, а філософські питання про природу зла і добра змушують задуматися про людську сутність.
