The Queen of Egypt had something to be angry about - she lost not only her power, but also her husband. King Akhenaten neglected Nefertiti both as queen-co-ruler and as a woman. He brought the young gentle Smenkhkare, his half-brother, closer to him, and Nefertiti hated him. Suddenly Akhenaten dies. Nefertiti is trying to regain power, but too many influential men are not interested in this. The eldest daughters of Akhenaten and Nefertiti are also involved in the dramatic events; they had to sacrifice a lot for the interests of the royal dynasty - for some, love, and for others, life. Perhaps only the eldest princess was lucky enough to escape with her beloved. At least, the author proposes exactly this scenario.

Книга "Гнів Нефертіті" захоплює з перших сторінок, занурюючи читача у світ давнього Єгипту, де цариця Нефертіті стає символом боротьби за свої права та гідність. Автор майстерно описує емоційні переживання Нефертіті, її гнів, зраду та прагнення повернути втрачену владу. Драматичні події, що розгортаються навколо неї, зокрема інтриги та політичні ігри, тримають у напрузі до самого кінця. Особливо вразила динаміка стосунків між Нефертіті, її чоловіком Ехнатоном та молодим Сменхкаром, що додає глибини сюжету. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з сильними жіночими персонажами та захоплюючими сюжетами!
