Автор вдало передає атмосферу часу, в якому жив Рамсес II, показуючи його амбіції, боротьбу за владу та стосунки з богами. Особливо вражає, як детально описані внутрішні конфлікти героя, його прагнення до величі та страхи, які супроводжують його на шляху до трону. Хоча переклад тексту здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях можна натрапити на не зовсім коректні фрази, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією.
