The classic stories about the adventures of Sherlock Holmes, written by Arthur Conan Doyle, only briefly mention a number of cases that the Great Detective had to solve. Even for those who do not have deductive thinking, it is quite obvious that these cases seriously influenced the fate of Holmes and the formation of his methods of investigation. But, for certain reasons known to him alone, Arthur Conan Doyle did not give these matters the attention they deserve.
