This collection of works by Carl Schmitt, the most controversial figure in European legal and political thought of the 20th century, includes selected fragments of The Doctrine of the Constitution, a fundamental work of the Weimar era. In addition to the article in which Schmitt argues with pluralistic theories, advocating a strong state, the collection also includes two works from the Nazi era, which make it possible to more fully imagine the career and theoretical trajectory of the German thinker.
