We present to readers the legendary four-volume collection of prose by Sergei Dovlatov. The first three volumes were published in 1993; in 1996, another volume appeared entitled “The Little-Known Dovlatov.” Especially for this edition, all texts have been re-verified and changed taking into account the latest author's edits. This collection of works, which undoubtedly can be called a standard edition, will be a great gift for all fans of the work of Sergei Dovlatov. The third volume includes the stories “Foreigner”, “Branch”, stories from the collection “Demarche of Enthusiasts”, “Notebooks”, as well as two interviews with Dovlatov: with a correspondent of the emigrant magazine “Slovo” and Viktor Erofeev.
