We present to readers the legendary four-volume collection of prose by Sergei Dovlatov. The first three volumes with illustrations by Florensky were published in 1993; in 1996, another volume appeared entitled “The Little-Known Dovlatov.” Especially for this edition, all texts were re-verified and changed taking into account the latest author's edits. This collection of works, which, undoubtedly, can be called a standard edition, will be a great gift for all fans of the work of Sergei Dovlatov. The first volume includes the works “Zone”, “ Compromise" and "Reserve". The second volume included the works "Craft", "Ours", "Suitcase", "Grapes", "Met and Talked", "Ariel" and "Toy". The third volume included the stories "Foreigner" , “Branch”, stories from the collection “Demarche of Enthusiasts”, “Notebooks”, as well as two interviews with Dovlatov: with a correspondent of the emigrant magazine “Slovo” and Viktor Erofeev. The fourth volume includes stories from different years, columns from the magazine “New American” , in which Dovlatov served as editor-in-chief, two “sentimental stories”, articles about literature, letters, as well as memoirs of contemporaries about Dovlatov.
