Hans Fallada (1893–1947) - a German writer with a difficult character and difficult fate, wrote his fairy tales in 1938, during a period of painful choice between the need to emigrate from Nazi Germany and the desire to remain in his native country. It is all the more surprising that his fairy tales, everyday and at the same time magical, leave a bright impression. An unlucky chicken saved the princess; the day when everything happened topsy-turvy turned out to be a dream; the terrible guests the bear and the fox got what they deserved; the hedgehog saved a man from a viper bite and became his faithful friend, but the insidious rat failed to gain the man’s trust - and rightly so! After reading Hans Fallada’s fairy tales, I just want to say: everything will be fine!
