In a small town in Umbria, during the feast of a local saint, a Russian girl, the secretary of an old countess, is killed. The family asks Alexandra to go to Italy to find out why the murder has not been solved. Having met the Countess, Alexandra finds herself in the “high society” of the city and begins her investigation with the help of Commissioner Dini, who had already saved her from the hands of a murderer in Tuscany. She is frightened by an abandoned abbey in the mountains and is told about the disappearance of local schoolgirls. Will she be able to figure out the killer, will the old monk's blessing work, and what is hidden behind the walls of the abbey?
